Welcome to South Highlands Elementary Magnet School. It is with great pride that I open our doors to our school that just recently celebrated its 85th year of educating students in Caddo Parish.
The success of our school is due to our dedicated teachers, involved families, and hard-working students. Our faculty and staff work daily to provide the best in teaching in a student-centered, caring, and motivating environment. South Highlands’ parents are involved in many aspects of our school such as fundraising, long-range planning, and school events.
When you walk the halls of South Highlands you will quickly see it is a place where students not only excel academically, but are also learning about respect and social skills. The students learn in a safe environment that is supervised to provide safety and security for each member of our school family.
