How are parents involved?
The administration and faculty of South Highlands Elementary Magnet School consider themselves to be partners with parents, the primary educators of their children. Research suggests that one characteristic of an effective school is strong parent involvement; the stronger the parent involvement, the stronger the school. The support and assistance of parents therefore, is essential for our school's continued success.
South Highlands has a strong PTA and encourages parents to become involved. We value the contribution our parents make at South Highlands, and we consider them a vital part of our school.
